Yeah, that's it... it'll be a sad day to see the skills slowly disappear from the country. So many people say that we shouldn't be manufacturing, and should focus our energies on the sciences and research, but as someone who works in a technological field (and can be regarded a scientist, though engineer is more typical), there is no science and research if you're not building something that uses it! That's just economics...
