R31 Diff

Just wondering if R31 diffs will fit in GC galants and are they straight bolt in and if not how much modding.would be involved if.they do.fit ?

They are okay width wise, depending on your wheels as they are wider than a Galant diff by 60mm I think.
You will need to grind off all the location tabs and weld on leaf spring mounts.

Thought the R31 diff was leaf springs and would already have the mounts

r31s are coil spring. The other option is a hilux diff, most are leaf spring but still different to galant mounts
