Took the scorpion out again, for the first time in a while...still need alot more wheel time to get down to the times I want. but had fun anyway.
I wanted some in-car footage, so I taped my phone to the passenger seat and got this.\

all done & dusted after the 1.75day event, car ran well throughout the event, hoping to get to a few more events in the near future so I can hold/link slides a bit more...

Re: my weekend at the local khanacross
Very nice
I'm building my gb for this.. And dirt track events.. And street.. And drift haha
The first one did seem quicker, but the second run you were quicker in a few sections but slower through the rest. Put the two together though! That would be a good lap
I see your up rocky area. Do any if these events happen down in the SE area? I'm in south Brisbane.

Hey 75glnt,
I'm also building my gb for this sort of thing.
Here are a few sites to check out for this sort of thing in our area:
http://www.hsccq.com/ Mostly Willowbank for MotorKhana/Khanacross,
http://www.iwmac.org.au Bundamba for Autocross/Dirt Sprints,
http://www.qldraceways.com.au/home.php Willowbank and Lakeside for sprints and racing.
So basically you are in prime position do do this kind of stuff
Dan

Oh awesome!! I think I found the willowbank dirt track website before?? The hsccq. I'm looking at heading out after Father's Day to spectate and have a look at the track.
But thanks a bunch for the rest of the links!
We should meet up sometime! I'd love to see your gb

Nice one Brendon, looks like great fun
Re: my weekend at the local khanacross
cheers guys, it was a lot of fun
yeah couldn't nail a smooth/clean run till much later in the day, by the next day i was using the handbrake, after some tips from guys in the club and that certainly helped in the tighter stuff. Alot more practice is required though.
only Brisbane club I know of is the Brisbane sporting car club http://www.bscc.asn.au/Joomla/, (but they seem more of a rally club having said that my club has a rally focus also)
