Bolted or welded

Post by lance »

Hi all just a Question .. Early L200 front suspension , dose it all bolt on like Early L300 suspension ?
Starting a new project and am shopping around for a front suspension . L300 if l use it will have to be cut down 100 mm in width .
HR Holden is slightly too wide but will work .L200//// Witch ever one l use will have to have a front mounted rack fitted and would like ford type stud pattern on hubs.
Cheers

All L200s have crossmember welded onto the rails so no good for a conversion unfortunately. Also they use a steering box not a rack.

All l will say Scorpman is that it is old .
Will put up some pics when it gets under way Have it stored under my little carport out back .
A mate has a Fiat 850 sport stored in his garage since 1985 He is too old to restore it himself
If l can get that l will drop the mystery car for that. BUT BEFORE THEN
lots Jobs to be done around the house and a bigger garage
