my old sigma was running the haltech e6x. it was installed by previous owner so im not completely sure on what maps it was running etc but i didnt mind it. the only bad this was when it was cold it idled like crap. but im told most aftermarket ecu's are quite common with that. my wolf ecu does it in...

i would definately have done it to my set. but ive decided to sell my turbo rims to buy some wheels with a better offset. if i get that bored i may polish them up for the sale but depends if can find and old strut around the place.

the black disc thats on the rotary sander, what is it? rubber? to give the grip to spin the tyre?
all in all its an awesome idea to save time. and cheap and (seemingly) easy to do, if you have a sander and willing to remove a strut. good work

well im changing rims shortly anyway. will be ugrading to 7 or 8 " all round. then just going to sell the turbo rims. i just really like the look of cars with camber so was more as a cosmetic mod as i doubt i will be boosting around corners that hard anyway. cheers for the help

cheers mate, i had a quick browse of your build thread. its a little in depth for me at the moment to try and do something like that. might just try find some stiffer springs for the now and maybe look into it down the track. just hoping if i get 15x7 or 8 +8 wheels that they will be fine to run on ...

so you need to get gh sigma coilover sleeves? i havent seen them on ebay before. unless they are international seller which i dont normally look at. may look into it. or just try to buy some stiffer springs for the front

do the make coilovers to suit the front end of gc sedans? ive never found any yet. any similar sort of mods to stiffen up the rear endrob020 wrote:235/45 17's dont quite fit

awesome, the above photos are exactly what i wanted to see. maybe i will go for the 15x8 +8. zero offset it i little to noticeable with the SA police. i will put up a thread of the car once i have my own photos of the it. its been at the mechanic since the day i bought it. hopefully pick it up this ...

went and found some wheels i will order once got a few more paychecks in and the car is onroad. they are 15x7 +8. and will try get some tyres stretched to minimise risk of scrubbing. im getting the car raised at the moment as it was bottoming out on the rear. but once new rims are on i will lower it...

could you not jack up the rear end of the car and have someone give it a little throttle to spin wheels and you hold sandpaper there. then switch front wheels to back after and repeat. just a thought for a cheapo alternative to get a motorized rotisary going. just gotta be caerful of fingers

well im picking up the car tonight. it was a non turbo model. rebuilt a 2.6 efi non turbo engine and bolted the standard sigma turbo setup onto it running an xr6 turbo intercooler setup. drove it the other night and it was so fun. really enjoyed it so its going to be my daily. sucks not having power...
