Re: Drive-Way Rattle Can Paint Job

Yep, Plasti Dip came up in my earlier research actually watched that exact video... though it was cool but wasn't convinced. Original paint on car was very poor (pitted and crows feet) and I thought this would show through the Plasti Dip add rust in the usual places and I thought it was best left fo...

Re: Drive-Way Rattle Can Paint Job

Mad Max comparison was a bit of a stretch but next mechanical plan I have been thinking about for a while is an SC14 supercharger which starfire did successfully recently (thread; supercharging my GJ on the cheap), I'll have the added fun of trying it with LPG.

Re: Drive-Way Rattle Can Paint Job

Yeah time will tell on abrasion resistance and longevity. It's an exterior rust proofing paint for gates and exterior metal work so I'm quietly optimistic but Whites give a 5 year warranty on the paint if applied properly... love to see there faces if I put that warranty claim in. Strip discs I used...

Re: Supercharging my GJ on the cheap

Interesting thread you have opened up here was thinking of doing the exact same thing to my GE sigma, all be it with the added complication of Gas Research LPG System. You've already mentioned a couple of things that hadn't though about so really keen to see where this goes, keep the experiences/pit...

Re: Budget Roof Lining

Cool, Papier-mache hadn't though of that, plus would give the kids something to look at on long trips. Go one step further and put blank paper up there and give the kids long pencils so they can doodle as you drive, potential for getting stab in the back of the head is high but hey wheres the fun wi...

Budget Roof Lining

Hi All, Just thought I'd share because I'm quite pleased with the result... My head lining began to sag some time ago and I stapled it up with a view to getting it relined in the future but that never happened because I have little cash to layout so I though to myself why not just spray paint it... ...

Strut Clerance

Hi All, Finally changed my wheels over after resolving a center spigot to big issue to some stock steels I got not that long ago. Problem is I was a bit rash with my tyre purchase and ended up with some 195/65/15 which puts the tyre about 3mm avay from the top of the strut tower... Is this to close?...

And we have a winner!!! Rob20 you hit the nail on the head just checked the center spigot on the hub and its larger than the center holes in the wheels, consequently it does not sit flat! Ok, so next move would be to machine/file back the center spigot or center hole in the wheel? Love this forum......
