Got her running :D and... Some dopey bugger mixed up a water hose to a vacuum port on intake runner #4  so she copped a belly full of water and spewed water out the gasket! :banh:

Hopefully no damage was done and all is well... The joys of finishing someone else's projects :\

Re: MSD questions

IMO... Buy this.. Crane Cams Fireball XR3000 electronic ignition. Found on eBay for about $150. You will need a different coil (crane cams PS91 coil). What it does is increase the strength of your spark, and the also the amount of spark... You remove the guts of the dizzy, and replace it all with an...

Then got some 25a wire from the terminal to the body (again, running into the loom for tidin...

Re: Earth lead

If I could go straight to my block (It's the same as the astron), I'm wondering why most cars are from the battery to the body, then to the block? Does it benefit me in any way at all? And can I actually go STRAIGHT to the block? I'm more it less asking for someone who has a working car, (preferably...

 They do need new tyres ;-) And I actually want the stock wheels as I'm gonna run those until I save up enough for my new wheels :) Work meister CR01 16x8 +10 fronts, 16x8 -3 rears. And khumo KU39 195 or 205/45r16 $2300 for wheels, roughly $600-$800 in tyres... Until then, I'll run her in stock...

Re: GC hazards

Pre 75 jap spec?

My lights are a 3 way flick up/centre/down switch on the dash under the fuel gauge area. Down is off, up one is parkers. And all the way is low beam. Pull back on the indicator stalk and you have high beam.

If you're answer is yes to my first question, ignore my comment :P
