Update!
Got her running and... Some dopey bugger mixed up a water hose to a vacuum port on intake runner #4 so she copped a belly full of water and spewed water out the gasket!
Hopefully no damage was done and all is well... The joys of finishing someone else's projects

Got the head on and torqued up, painted the rocker cover and Installed a few other bits (alternator, radiator etc). Got it guys! :D fired her up last night I used a really big gauge cable from the battery straight to the block (running it under the battery tray and into the loom so it stays tidy and minimalises movement). My lights are a 3 way flick up/centre/down switch on the dash under the fuel gauge area. Down is off, up one is parkers. And all the way is low beam. Pull back on the indicator stalk and you have high beam.
