Re: Engine options for the Hardtop (4G54 vs. G63B vs. ????)
Back in the late '80s my dad had a GB which he put a 4G63B single cam motor in it with a set of factory twin solexs and a GS cam out of a Supporo GSR from NZ. It was our family car that also did a bit of club motorsport. It was also capable of embarasing the current falcodores at the time. Unfortuna...

I saw your wagon parked in the under ground carpark last month as well as several Sigma's out there.
I didn't take my hardtop and was spewing that I didn't.
If I go this Saturday then I will be taking it.

when i get back from canberra in 2 weeks il have a look around for a hideaway stereo system, or maybe mount a standard headunit in the glovebox as ive seen on here. I'm currently in the middle of putting a stereo in my hardtop. I will put some pic's up in the next couple of days but for the head un...

Re: My GC
Yeah welcome to SG Gramps. Tidy GC you've picked up there. Stick with the 4G32 and keep your eye out for a set of twin solex carbies as they give better performance than a single webber, and put a set of extractors on it is my suggestion. Twin webbers sound and go a little bit better than the solexs...

Re: Windsor to Wisemans 24/3/2013 (joint Datsun cruise) pics
Just like the white 1600 I was following. Get him on a straight bit of road and he would be gone. Get to a corner and I would be all over his ass and I wasn't even trying. Might of had something with how low the car was sitting. That was also frustrating.Maybe it's only quick in straight lines?

Unfortunately I only got a few pic's today (to busy with kids). Even though I was basically driving in my own backyard I managed to discover a cou...

I think you're missing a couple of things Dave.
I gave the Galant a wash yesterday and polished and vacuumed most of it today until the weather thought it would have some fun with me.
Good to here that Phil is coming in the GA. Good work guys on getting it finished and running.

Forecast for Windsor tomorrow 35 degrees... Wow Low to mid thirties is a fairly common temp for out here. Unfortunately the weather can't make up it's mind on what it's doing at the moment and is making cleaning the Galant quite difficult. It rains for a few minutes then the sun comes out and it's ...

That's looking very nice.
Just make sure you have the sheet metal door trims on very tight. about 10 years ago, Rod Salmon had his elbow cap sliced clean off in the middle of a stage when his sheet metal door trim came away from the door on his old Evo rally car.
