Gb rally edition
Ok guys was there ever a rally edition gb galant bloke has one and is claiming its one of 150 only to me it looks like a normal gb 4 speed with a belt drive 1600 but it also has a 17 on a little plate in the engine bay. So does anyone know of any ? Is it even a factory rally car from back in the day...

I have been told that my 1600 turbo engine has run 13s in a gd running 20 pound boost on av gas I haven't seen papers but hey he's a fellow member don't see the point to b/s about it lol but will trial it at 15 pound on pump fuel when the got is finished

How much do you want for the fishtank lol thought I'd ask p.s have you checked out the rear quarters yet ? When it had the turbo setup I went and had a look magnet fell off down the bottom of them . Done a good job cleaning up the paint on it what's plans for it next ?

Yeah shelbygto's old engine ( which I now own ) is a very well setup engine I have yet to take it for a spin but there's a lot of work gone into it and seems to work well from what I've been told as I say I've yet to try it out sad really as it looks like a weapon but ill get there

I think by having a fiberglass bar and apron would be fine as you see some older cars people still get it regoed with out front bars so I would say it would be fine just no bonnets no gaurds no doors sucks really be even lighter if we were aloud

Oh and also I'm not 100% sure in other states but nsw its illagal to have fiberglass body panels so one of my mates found out the hard way with a Fiberglass bonnet otherwise it would be a awesome idea

I think by the sounds of it my dash pad is worth more then gold no cracks in it thank god and yes c pillar moulds eye brow mould ( even tho I have one and only one ) and that's all I really need

Sounds very interesting and would love to see the outcome of this but unsure of the carbs through the bonnet that sounds bit to far for me but your car defanantly need to see it happen tho ;)

Not sure if anyone else on the forum has seen it in person but I have and it sure does look just as pretty in person as the pics show its straight very straight ( other then mummy backing Into the front and damaging it but that's fixed soon)

I grabbed the tan door cards out of my yellow gb and they fit straight in my wagon front and rear the rear seats diffrent and the front seats fit from ga/gb in my wagon

Cars back in the day ran on super 95 octane so why put lower in now e10 stuffs your carbys up even fuel injection cars too but mainly the carbys it eats away at the gaskets IMHO I wouldn't even put e10 or anything lower then 95 even in my mower but it's everyones choice just a no go for me
