I just purchased a microtech, only paid 300$ for it..so not to bad..I know some ppl here don't like microtech but my dads mate has a xp with a microtech and he has no issues, what I was looking for is can anyone provide me the map details for the tune of the microtech so I can put it on the microtec...

Ok.. I'm getting 3 codes, knock sensor tps and another.. its 4 long beeps 2 short.. I had a look on the chart and the injector fault is 4 long 1 short.... So if someone knows what 4.long 2 short is, of that means injector 2? Or w.e... But when I turn my car off and back on its like it automatically ...

Hmmm.. I will have to wait to get a LED tester, I finally found a workshop manual for the TR/TS, thank god, but yeah, I have no clue why its running like it is, it WAS working http://www.sigma-galant.com/viewtopic.php?f=46&t=3120&p=45032#p45032 , that's an old members car, that efi is now on...

so its probably normal ur ecu is throwin those codes because u probably don't have them? haha

This may sound stupid cottees, but how do I check the codes? I haven't got a service manual or workshop manual, been trying to get one for a wiring diagram but cant find one.

Ok, ive searched on the forum for ages...ive spoken to some EFI shops around where I live (I don't think they know what theyre talking about, they want me to spend $200 to plug my ecu in just to check whats wrong with it), ive checked as much as I can..but I hope someone here can try to put somethin...

ok ive somewhat worked out... when the TPS is disconnected it runs fine.. when its connected, it idles, but when I put my foot on the throttle it breaks down

sooo Im not sure what it may be.. ?

it could be the computer... it could be the TPS :\

That was the idle speed controller on the bottom of the throttle body.... I cleaned it best I could.... now it doesn't start and idle properly, and it smells like its running incredibly rich... I also took the throttle position sensor off and cleaned it.. it idle and ran fine, then I took it up the ...

Ok well, I tried that, and, it made a difference, probably cut the turning over speed in half... what could that be??? Hmm, ill try it, but the tune shud be stock its standard magna ecu, and I'm not 100% shore how to idle it down, I assume the screw on the right side of the throttle body above the throtle position sensor is the idle one? Where could I find this fuel regulator thing haha

ok, so I am going to turbo my sigma.......WELL, I have been thinking......... the turbo manifold are a little hard to comeby, I was wondering, what do yall think of superchargers??? ive been looking at a SC14 which is off a Toyota, they use them on v6 commodore and stuff.. http://www.ebay.com.au/itm...

I see what you mean geezer, And yes, the plastic covers are original, well theyre on both sides atleast, I need to rewire a lot of it, and the filters under the bonnet, im just gonna do a good tidy up till I can afford a aftermarket ecu, I know some ppl don't like them, but I will be looking for a m...

From memory you cant just bolt an efi setup onto a astron 1 head, but if you were to get an magna m6/9 head then the efi will bolt straight on which is the setup I have on my siggy

Eeep, Yes, I see what you mean, been thinking about doing a panel beating course at tafe CERT 3 of a night time, just for personal use. the new siggy has some dents not major ones but id like to get them fixed.

And I thought I may aswell imbrace it, I think the devils number is lucky for me, first time I drove it, found some boat seats on the side of the road, value = $500, SCORE!, next day, I get a job. o.o? odd... haha
