Re: 75glnt's n/a 4g63 ga galant
C's and D's may be slightly different to A's and B's due to the fact that they were available in 1850 and 2000cc. This is from my experience with GB's: As for the trans fitting in the tunnel (with the exception of the shifter placement), the wide block Jap box will fit in a narrow tunnel, the BW we ...

Re: EFI on an Astron 1 motor...
Hey guys, Anyone know where I can get the adapter plate to run the EFI manifold on an Astron 1? Thanks Make one or they do occasionally pop up on EBay... but once again they will be home made ones. You will need to relocate the thermostat housing to the front though as the water outlet on the Astro...

Re: 75glnt's n/a 4g63 ga galant
I have removed a couple of Trans Tunnel's at the wreckers for my Galants (with a cold chisel, hammer and hacksaw). I have not compared a Sigma to Galant one to see what the difference would be. Atleast if you get the Galant one you know it will go in and wont intrude too much into the foot well wher...

Re: What radiator to get?
What you's guys are using in you GC's and GD's is no good for us people with GA's and GB's as we dont have the height clearance that you have. As Jason metioned, best thing is to measure what space you have and look on EBay for one or go to you local radiator shop and they may be able to assist you....

Re: What radiator to get?
no idea, few hundred i expect, but least ya know it's all new etc..
the laser one cost me about $50 at the wreckers and just happened to find one that had been redone recently.
The laser one is the NON alloy one that the later ones ran. So it has the copper top and bottom tanks.

Re: What radiator to get?
I ran one out of a Ford Laser (dont ask what model (KE maybe???)) with an Injected 2.6lt. It just fit inbetween the rails and was about the same height as the Galant one. I just chose it as there is more surface area to cool down. I was running it with 2 electric fan's mounted on the front of it. Yh...

Re: GC Galant skirts and flares
This is my GD Wagon when i had it.. The skirts and mudflaps are from a TP Magna Elite/Elante... whatever it is, the sports model. I had cut he skirt (under the doors) and shortened and re-attatched the front bit that moulds up to the front mudflap. If i did it again i would keep it all as one and ju...

Re: Wanted: your opinion :)
i got a auto tunnel out of a Galant and put it in one of my manual body Galant's as i run mainly wide block stuff. The auto tunnel is an "insert" panel anyway. It looks like they were all made manual floor pan's and some went through a die that cut the manual tunnel out and the auto one wa...

Re: Wanted: your opinion :)
The Galant's that you have, are they origionally auto or manual cars. Auto has a bigger tunel than a Manual. You will need to do some massaging (with a big fn hammer) of the tunnel to fit the wide block box in there (as from memory it just hits in a couple of spots), also you will not be able to rem...

Re: few interchangable parts questions
being a GC Galant you can fit a (Aus) brake booster and master to it with little hassle. As for a Import (most likely a GJ Sigma equivilant) i would not see any problem either. An Import Sigma would (most likely) be running full Starion driveline (motor, gearbox, struts, brakes etc) The strut's will...

A couple of mates and I went to Summernats for the weekend. Was a real eye opener, pity about the lack of 4cyl Mitsubishi/Chrysler attendance at the show. Only saw 2 GH Sigma's, a GK Sigma and a GB Galant. All of which had V8's in them. We left mine at 4am on Wed morning and stopped in Narrandera fo...

The bonnet scoop is off of a Starion. Same as mine, just didnt use the side vent's. http://i1245.photobucket.com/albums/gg584/GB_BB4C/2012-07-07130402-1.jpg as for the front spoiler it is the aftermarket fibreglass one. same as this one. http://imgc.classistatic.com/cps/blnc/120617/918r1/03747k2_20....
