where do you purchase engine parts when rebuilding a 4g54 ,example im after a set of double valve springs ,good quality timing chain ,and a nice turbo cam,and what are the best head gaskets to use. engine is an astron 1 narrow block.

im pretty sure it would be aftermarket as i remember the early et pulsars with a very similar decal / stripes along the sides ,i personaly never saw it on a gh turbo ,for some reason it looks pretty good on a blue / black gh, sort of cool retro 80s look .

is there a diffrence between wide and narrow block starter motors for the 2ltr sigmas ,also are there any good after market gear reduction starter motors any one has used or recomend ive seen some on ebay but thought i would ask first.

its in a tight spot atm can barely open the door to get in let alone open the bonnet, ahh renovations would have taken a pic but from memory its just under the bumper.
