Wanna lose weight fast? Just come on a cruise with these guys in an un air conditioned car on a day like today.
Seriously lost a few kgs to sweat in the car.
Awesome day though and I should have some photos soon!

Re: NSW cruise 24/3/2013 Windsor to Wiseman's Ferry
Yeah I got a msg tonight off my brother in law telling me that there's a Sydney Datsun Club cruise leaving from Rouse Hill maccas which isn't where we're meeting but he could just be getting mixed up. I put in the hard yards on the zed today and after sweating my bollocks off pulling the front brake...

Re: Other options
I used to own an XR5T focus in electric orange and when the sun hit it the colour just burst off the car. Black compliments it very well as the focus has a lot of black plastic and I know a lot of owners that paint their wheels black as well has painting any dull black plastics in deep gloss black. ...

Re: Random Galant Pictures (ADD HERE)
I still dont think big ZG style flares really work on a galant. The only exception being incorporatedx's wagon (but that has a kind of a ratty look working for it) but I think I'd still like to see some big Bosozuko bubble flares, it'd be ridiculous but it might just work. That said I think tye Rota...

Or you could paint all the grey bits red and it would be closer to a star shark or techno phantom or similar. Personally I'd like some more offset at that width
Are you sure these are 4x114.3? I vaguely remember when he started stocking these and only had then in 4x100.

Re: 75 Wagon
Nice one! Also got the starion gas pedal too for the Coupe (cable throttle)
Re: 75 Wagon
Might be a little late but I think (don't hold me to this) that the one on my '63 out of a Hyundai Sonata was peetty similar to the stock one. Built in regulator too. Might be getting confused with the starter motor though, now they were definitely the same.

Re: Our 1975 GC Hardtop (pic heavy and epic read!)
I need to do a stocktake on the spare panels hiding in dad's shed and then go from there. So far it needs a front panel off a wreck (when I get time I'll have a look at northern auto wreckers as there's a few galants there) a bonnet and driver's side guard, which I might have, front bumper and possi...

If there's one thing any of you are going to take away from any of my posts it's that when I say I'm going to post an update soon I actually mean I'll get around to it, probably four months down the track  Anyway, there's a reason for such a belated post. The fact is, I haven't touched the...

Re: Dan's SPA57K GD Galant wagon and other Galants
Ugh, the old "nice Datsun" routine  we all get it It's funny about Galant brakes, when they get parked up for a while the master cylinders always start leaking. By the way I have a set of un-modified wagon springs that my dad would appreciate me getting out of the shed if you're inte...

Re: My GC Hardtop project
Yeah, As far as I could find there's only one post on early Mitsu on Speedhunters, and while it was a nice LA Lancer it's still not enough. But with their #featurethis and #iamthespeedhunter campaigns going on it's in our hands really. If we hit them with enough quality photos of our cars (and our b...

Re: SYDNEY BASED SIGMA PERFORMANCE SPECIALIST
In all honesty Coltspeed were the only early mitsu focused guys around anywhere. Oh, with the exception of RPW in QLD of course. If you have to take your car to someone in Sydney to sort out the only guy I can think that has a good background with early Japanese stuff is Stewart Wilkins Motorsport (...

I'm not sure it's of much concern to you guys but I booked the Zed in to the body shop to get the flares fitted next week so it won't look all doofy on those crappy wheels.
Looking forward to this. Hopefully the weather holds out.

Re: 1976 LA Lancer 4g63t Build
On another note it saddens me to see the front of your Galant beat up, probably the only other Mitsi I like as much or more than the old lancers :( What are yours plans going to be for it now? Have you thought about going down the turbo wrought? Would feel good to leave most skyline lovers in the d...

Re: 1976 LA Lancer 4g63t Build
In Galants its tight. In lancers its tighter again. These will be some of the last things I get round to doing though At the risk of sounding nit picky you might want to put it at the front of the priorities list. It will completely influence the way you build your motor. If you go one way, you'll n...

Re: 1976 LA Lancer 4g63t Build
Starions in Aus all had wide block motors but in the states they had a different motor, NZ may have got those models. Don't know much about it though. I would suggest that you do yourself a favour this early on and try bolt the box up to the motor and make sure the bolt holes in the bottom of the bl...

The entire time I spent building, driving, rebuilding, driving some more and now looking longingly out the back door at what remains of the coupe, I was dying to get out on a cruise. That car was made for it! Never over heated, never played up, never used any fuel, it would have been great! Bu...

Not as such I don't think. Check the build threads there's bound to be someone who's competed it already.
And I could be wrong but I think the '64 came in RWD layout (N/S) anyway in things like L200 utes and Express vans. I could be getting confused with the RWD SOHC '63 motors.

As you can see a stock width Scorpion diff is fine under a hardtop, even with my 15x8 +0's fitted with 205/50 15's http://www.picslap.com/sites/default/files/styles/medium/public/field/image/interesting.jpg Obviously you had to fabricate spring mounts to fit this, how does your engineer feel about ...
