Re: Sydney.. Wedensday drags!

that's alright
would be nice to see what gains could be made by just removing weight, like trimming all the unnecessary steel out of the doors, bumper reinforcements, removing the sound deadening (I think I removed 20kg in sound deadening on my gh) etc

Re: 4G54 Head Gasket for turbo

SCE do a pro copper gasket for the g54b im sure they could modify it to be like they're ICS Titan gaskets

I have used the ICS copper gaskets on other engines in the past and theres no need to O ring the block and they don't leak

Re: Need help wiring up XE Throttle Body to Magna Head

OK if you look inside the Ford TPS the pins are identified top to bottom as ABC

A = Ground

B = Signal

C = +5v

Looking into the Mits TPS plug, (two small notches on the right one large on the left) the pins are identified top to bottom as 1234

1 = +5v

2 = Signal

3 = not used

4 = Ground

actually I can see one problem with using a trimatic
conversion bellhousings would be very hard to make as the oil pump is cast into the rear of the bell

Re: Another engine for the Triton.

what pistons are you using ??

I remember they used a rod spacer like you plan to use in in early Cleveland stroker engines and it was an area of failure, a piston guided rod is a much more reliable way to go

I see what you mean by slow to 120

Factory test figures:
Focus ST Standing 1000m = 26.4 seconds @ 206kph, though mine said closer to 220

I had a run in my sigma with a current shape STI last weekend, was a 100km roll on and pulled 5 car lengths before I changed into 3rd (top)
