Ive just taken out the stater motor out of our GJ as it was not turning over the engine its a direct drive model, not a reduction one I put power to the solenoid and the drive engages and dis-engages without issue but the drive doesnt spin Ive pulled the unit apart and checked the bushes and they on...

why not do a black wrap on the bonnet... ive seen some carbon fibre ones and they actually look quite good and cheaper than respraying.. and if you dont like it you rip it off and try somethgn different

yeah no caps... plenty of charge all accessories lights etc work fine just no nose from engine bay... new terminals and ground lead and new primary power lead to the coil and to the alternator im guessing it has to be the solenoid ... unless theres an ignition relay or something im not aware of... i...

yeah i gave it a hit with a universal screwdriver but no joy... nothing not even the usual click click click that id expect form one if the battery was low or if the starter had an issue... startting to think perhaps the starter solenoid may be the issue weird thing is the car hadnt been started for...

Keep in mind its wont technically be pushing around a scorpion... all that will be original is the bodyshell, no doors, bonnet, front guards or boot as they will all be fibreglass, back quarters will also most likely be glass as well...and given it will be a 10yo driving it on clay it prolly wont ev...

yeah shes definitely a GH from 2/80 so maybe it had been changed previously at some point.. who knows with a car like this... as for parts yes B1 is exactly what i need... B2 i think i will give her a clean up do the minor cosmetics she needs and look to sell her once back on the road i think... but...

yeah the tunnel is an issue apparently... went thru it with a mechanic on the last Scorpion i had, apparently it depends on which box it has as to whether it has a wide tunnel or not... but its not to hard to sort as for the t-top i was going to do this to the last one, using panels from a 280ZX but...
