Re: Need shopping list for h4 conversion
If they are standard H4's you wont need relays. But if you want them, just work out where you want to put the relays and work from there. I used a "project box" from an electrical shop to hide mine in, and i used 7 core trailer wire for the wiring instead of having 10 wires all over the pl...

Re: Help - Durable paint options
I've used KBS. Amazing stuff. But hard to paint over because its so hard to sand. if I just do a few coats of an industrial enamel that should be ok right? Not uv stable though right? Only thing in worried about is will the top Coat stick to it?

Re: How to setup a regulator for the alternator
So on the back of your alternator you have one of those things that you plug your wires into. If you unscrew it it will just come out but if its an oldy there will be a wire soldered on the back. Just cut it and crimp a connector on and attach it. They both do the same thing, just one is wired and t...

Re: How to setup a regulator for the alternator
Just take out the back and stick one of these in: http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/171049946150 As long as you have a charge light pin on the back of the alternator itself Or if you dont, install one of these http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/Genuine-Bosch-RE-60-Alternator-Voltage-Regulator-Brand-New-Warranty-/1...

Re: 2 years later its happening.
Removed the number plate holder, sanded it all back and cut out bits of rust around lights. Primed it all http://imageshack.us/a/img593/5298/ff4f.jpg Rubbed all back and primed. I'm not going all the way to the metal as the primer underneath is still good. Rear lower left boot sill was almost rust f...

modding a TR intake
Finding it very hard to find a TP intake so looking at TR now.
Beside the obvious switcharpo, what other mods do I actually need to do to get one of these between the engine and strut tower of a GC or GD?
Already tried the search button...

Finally I have bitten the bullet and tested out the engine. She has find 4000km. Surely that is enough for a test right? I had some sync trouble but after removing the choke lever assembly it is all good. Correct timing. Good ratio. So one cold night I was entering the highway and just said to mysel...

Re: 2 years later its happening.
So this is a budget project so please excuse the fibreglass. But I would have screwed it more trying to Weld it because that whole section is full of lead. Here is today. Exposed the worst of the rust. I had a compete cutout rust free to go under the rear windscreen and I threw it out in one of my c...

GC Coupe resurrection
2 years ago I bought tangos GC coupe project. Today I started sweeping out spiders, scraping the worms out of the the wheels and unbolting the engine that got water in the bores from the fue pick up line.. Another project has commenced! Unlike my A57 this will be a budget build, with the money going...
eci 4g32
