Couple of old girls from marong car show.

Marong (near Bendigo) car show today. The Peter Wherrett special was just immaculate, like it just drove out of the showroom! And the colt GSR was nearby, so I took a pic of that too! http://i25.photobucket.com/albums/c62/pistol-pistol-/Mobile%20Uploads/CDD7E91A-21D7-419E-804B-58773826A388.jpg http:...

Racing pads for scorpion?

As the title says, I've had a bit of a look around, but can't seem to find good performance/race brake pads to fit the scorpion brakes, does anyone know of anything? Don't know if ferodo zeros will be up to racing?

Dean.
The wheels were lightly sand blasted, then painted in the 2 pack white, just with a home compressor, and spray gun. Wasn't hard.

I'm going to 15 inch rims I think, probably Pepperpots.

You've definitely got some good ideas there, I think I'll need a bit of aero, if JimmyG's car is anything to go by, it's just so quick. A diet is definitely needed, that's for sure..

Ok, so a quick update, I've done nearly nothing to the Lancer (had some unbelievable shit going on for many years, but its finally over with!!), I'm trying to get it ready for the fun day at Winton this Saturday., it still has the 1600 in it which has only around 1000k's on the motor since the rebui...

Proportioning valve issues?

Just curious guys, has anyone else had problems with their Proportioning valves? Everything else in the brake system seems to be fine, but after we bled the brakes repeatedly, the pedal comes up but it still looses pressure, but no fluid, it's got us f@&ked!! :@ :banh: Any help would be greatly ...

Re: 1977 GD Galant racecar build. (on the cheap)

I went our for the Winton fun day with JimmyG, and I'm not usually one to be lost for words, but after a ride in that thing, I was just stunned, i mean, I own a 6.0L VZ clubsport, so I know what grunt is, but that Galant would eat the clubby for a snack. NOTHING on the track that day gained an inch ...

Thank you SIR!! Crikey, that's a bit scary, thinking of the cost factor involved! Geez it looks good though, and with an evo motor STILL sitting in the Fkn shed, waiting to go in, maybe it would be the way to go...hmmm, thinking time..

Thanx everyone, the cage will be for proper use, but I don't think I want one quite as hardcore as the yellow one pictured. So I guess it's a 6 point Im after, being anchored at the back, at the b pillars & the front. I'm just going to be doing things like hillclimbs etc, nothing overly major..I...

Thanx heaps for all the info guys, I do have an LSD that will go in when the motor does, which has disc brakes, so I might start looking at patrol or sigma master cylinders then.
