Re: 1.6l G32 EFI ?

I doubt you're going to get one of these. Importers won't bother with them as they are a no demand item and they were never available locally. If you want to go down a similar path check out the FWD Galants with the G63B EFI engine or something like the EFI engines in L200 express vans (2 litre). E...

Re: Auto LC lancers....

Well, as far as I can see it only the 2 liter Celeste had the auto gearbox MA904-A2. The 1,6 liter Celeste were all manual. For the Galant Sigma and Galant Lambda it's the same gearbox but with different dash-number: -A1 and -A3. The dash-number seems to indicate that there is a different speed pini...

Re: Lancer Brochures

All the Colt,Celeste and lancer stuff seems pretty lame when compared to the stuff Plymouth done to the FireArrow. I wouldn't say that: The Celeste GSR (4G52 twin carb) has about the same power output as the Fire Arrow with it's 4G54. The only other difference is that the Celeste GSR has...

Any proof that was the factory fitted engine in the Scorpion?? This is a factory fitted engine of a 1982 A164AH GSR Sapporo. This car has the 4G63GS engine with the twin mikuni's on it. Keep in mind that we, in Europe, had/have some different models than you guys have in Australia... Like we eg nev...

Why does a 4G63 out of a '82 Scorpion (Sapporo) fits on the km132 gearbox in my Celeste (LB hatch)? The distance between the dowel pins is about 31cm... Sounds like that RWD is also a narrow block then?

damned, doesn't look good to me. :( When you start stripping it you never know what you will find that's true. Re: Celeste / LB hatch brake cylinder relocation question

Well, it stays like it is. I'm going for a modified stock intake manifold (tilted upwards) and when that doesn't work out I go for a custom made intake manifold. On Facebook I'm in the 4g63 RWD group and they suggested that I had to talk to "Actiondan Customs" which i did. He will modify t...

Re: Evo vs VR-4 engines

What i noticed is that a VR-4 (N/A or turbo) has big ports and evo's have small ports in the head. Maybe it's because of the turbo that they made them smaller? pressure vs airflow/-mass or something?

Re: solex throttle plate size

Hi!

It looks like a DIDTA carb. meaning it has an automatic choke. About the sizes of the chokes you may find more info here: https://dl.dropbox.com/u/90172943/Carbu ... 0facts.pdf

Pretty sure the sohc heads have a large space between ports 2 and 3 where the dohc heads are evenly spaced between all ports. I think 84GKSIG has both manifold and should be able to confirm I also can confirm this: in my Celeste I now have a stock twin carb 4g63 aka Sirius engine. It has round port...

Celeste / LB hatch brake cylinder relocation question

Hi guy's I want to throw in a 4g63 dohc in my Celeste (lb hatch) but because it's LHD the brake booster/cylinder is in the way for the intake manifold. Is there a way or kit to leave the brake booster where it is and relocate the cylinder? An other option is also to buy an other intake manifold whic...

In my Celeste / LB hatch, the SOHC is not interfering anything. intake manifold problem on 4G63 DOHC

I want to build in an engine of a 1988 - 1992 Galant GSR (over here it's a Galant GTI - the one with the DOHC) into my Celeste/Lancer LB hatch but I have the following problem: As our Celeste's are LH drive the brake booster assy is on the LH side, where the intake manifold should come.
