Re: 4g32 double valve springs
Yeah, it's a budget build.. Already have the no.5 sitting here, there is a no.3 in the engine already as far as I know so I may just leave that one in anyway, still undecided. Pretty keen to run the no5 though.
Do you know if chain and belt drive valve springs are the same?

Re: 4g32 double valve springs
I had already thought of that Dave, I am looking down both avenues, will probably end up using more solid singles, it's only gonna be a street/motorkhana car, not a full rally beast like the LB
But cheers!

just remembered a major thing! autos have a park/neutral switch.. this circuit needs to be completed for the starter motor to get power. bridge the two wires you need to or put a switch in the line..

Re: automatic transmission to manual swap - possible?
tailshaft will be a different length, pedal box, clutch cable, hole in the firewall to pass clutch cable through, clutch, flywheel, may need to cut the hole in the tunnel longer (towards the rear of the car) to fit the gearbox in but it depends on the box, and a gearbox mount. cant quite remember if...

i left my lancer in a paddock for about 6 years and this happened to me, mine cleaned off after about 3 hours of scrubbing but it never came back..
as already stated i think if it was oil or petrol fumes you would be able to smell it..
