Re: Wheel options for a GH scorpion
The cars I can think of that are 15" and 4x114.3 are Skyline (upto R34 providing its a non turbo 4 door) 180SX (early were 4...later were 5.....My guess is that there is a fairly easy change over between the two cars...dunno how it is between Nissan/Mitsubishi) I'm sure there are others... but ...

Re: Sigma Turbo Build
Late model Sigma engines are the best platform to start with.... Then get the efi gear that necessary (wiring, intake etc)
Most efficient way if u wanna go the turbo efi route

Ull find that the excel (and the getz) are mechanically a lancer of previous years (when Hyundai could only afford to build their cars out of spare parts bins.....almost exclusively from Mitsubishi)

Re: Urgent help required - disc brakes
the difference in balance will be rather small (may not even be noticeable) given that the weight (and more importantly) weight distribution is essentially identical between the two cars

Re: Urgent help required - disc brakes
It is handy to know.....just watch your brake balance now because disc/disc setups have a different brake master cylinder to a disc/drum

Depending on the models yes......but the majority of the manuals ran a 3.42.....most autos ran (I believe) ran a 3.7 or so......
Some ghs apparently ran a 3.23 as an auto and I even heard some early ge's ran a 3.9 as a manual

Hey there....and welcome Not sure about wagon using the same chassis.....Sigma wzgins were coil sprung so it be all different mountings. However, engines and gearboxes are primarily just as interchangeable as a Sigma...wide/narrow terms is to with the bolt pattern between the block and bellhousings ...

This is a classic case of not needing to spend ur life savings to building a cover car
U can often get more enjoyment in using a workhorse rather than cleaning a show pony

Re: GDGalantlover's Unfortunate GE Sigma story...
I think it's the perfect base to learn panel beating/spray painting skills (if budget permits of course) But with Ge's becoming more and more rare....I'd say the best thing to do is simply salvage absolutely everything u can from that car (from panels to trim clips), clean them up so they are usable...

It's a black Cordia (I don't know the models I'm sorry) From what I'm aware...its a fairly simple setup, very minimal dollars spent on the car but does seem to be a very good bang for your buck lil track pack (this is the car that showed me the Magna/Galant hubs, brakes and struts trick) If you goog...

GIven all the other fab work you've put into this car....is re-wiring such a big issue for you???
I thought this would've been an easier task (albeit, still tedius and time consuming)
None the less, I'm sure you'll do a top job and the quality of work will be supurb

A good brake upgrade (if your looking for one)
is to put Magna/Galant front struts and brake on the Cordia....seen it done on an IPRA Vic racing Cordia
