Yeah but the rally driver would get dizzy going around and around and around again. Not a nice thing to say........i could always say that a circuit car is just a rally car thats afraid of getting dirty

Very nice Jas. I still think you're a lucky SOB then. It looks like there is going to be quite a bit of Galant parts on their way across the Tasman then.

If you have the original air filter housing for the twin carbs, then this link might be able to help you out. Someone else was asking the same question. I replied in the link with a part no. for the paper type air filter. http://www.sigma-galant.com/viewtopic.php?f=23&t=7329&p=63807#p63807 O...

Re: CE lancer track car
Cheater, Wouldn't you be better of using either a 4G62 or a 4G67 engine? This way you would be getting closer to your max capacity in class, or is there another reason for using the 1.6T engine. Nathan 4g61 has twin cam 4 valves per cylinder and are pretty well bullet proof - the shorter stroke eng...

Jas,
It maybe a GC type 1850. My GC Hardtop is a 1976 model. It would depend on the type of grill and tail lights it has I would think.

Re: GC Hardtop Windscreen Rubbers
I doubt your windsreen would be from a GTO or otherwise I doubt it will fit. My dad compared the windscreen from my hardtop (which was at the time owned by my dad) and his mates GTO. There was a definite difference in height between the two screens. For memory the GTO screen was shorter by several c...

Re: how much is my lancer worth??
There are 2 larger Saturn motors, the 4G35 and 4G37 though they are a bit harder to come by.Your Lancer should have a 1600 Saturn in it at the moment so pretty much any Saturn will be a bolt in affair, the 1600 is the biggest though

New Modification Reg's
My dad has just brought this to my attention, new reg's for modified car's which I'm sure will impact quite a few people on here. Apparently it will eventually be nation wide. This will also affect rally cars. One of the guys in my dad's Car Club has put this website below together to try and fight ...

Re: saturn motor, how strong
The only issue I've had with a 4G32's is a blown head gasket and I snapped a ring which turned 90 degrees and put a nice deep groove into the bore. Despite the groove I must of drove it for about 2 weeks until it got real hard to start. I pulled the head off to see what was causing the problem, only...

Harry's Cafe de Wheels
Hi all Sydney members,
I know it's late notice but I'm plan on going out to Harry's Cafe De Wheels at Liverpool tonight.
Just wondering if anyone else was keen to come out. Anyway I'll be out there with the Galant now it has stopped raining and the sun is out.

This might explain why my second LA used to always scrape the front guard lip when I had my 13 x 6 superlites on it. Used to do it always on this one particular Rd that had this nice dip section in it.I know a few guys with LA Lancers who've experienced the same issue.
