Re: How to measure Wheel offset.
There may be a couple of other considerations to think about when talking about tyre fitment: Scrub radius (front) - this is basically an imaginary line from the top of your strut through your lower outer ball joint (when veiwed from the front of your car) and to the ground. Now find the centre of y...

Re: 318 V8 into LC lancer??
I can tell you where you biggest problem will be ! The pissy narrow gearbox tunnel ! My project back in 1991 was to do a 340 into my LC Lancer for the show circuit ..... only problem was marriage, a new house and money got in the way. The 340 small block was about "as good as it gets" with...

Re: sigma lower control arms into a lancer
Hi all, I have those Sigma LCA in my LC Lancer :D I had bloody Nolathane bushes going in but found that they really just didn't want to go where I wanted them (ie. for more caster). So my mission atm is to fit VE Commodore Rear upper arm "spherical bearings" (they are rubber enclosed) Alot...

Re: LC Lancer SR20
nuh, wouldn't mount of either end bumper holes unless you want it to fall down ! Mounting at the front picks up off crossmember and then the bolt holes below radiator that mount the caster link bracket. rear picked up off bumper mounts - but I would not recommend using them neccessarily (as the pane...

Re: LC Lancer SR20
Build is coming along slower than I would like being only able to spend a certain amount of time on it. Drivetrain is in and I'm working on all of the wiring for both "old car loom" and the "new loom" for the fuel injection. Hoping to have the engine "started" maybe in ...

Auto Trimmer required
Hi all,
Can anyone recommend a quality auto trimmer in Melb South East (at a reasonable price) ?
I need to re-trim all my inside panels/door trims to a "new design" with some embroiding as well.
Will probably leave the seats for now (only running fronts anyway).

Re: electronic to mech speedo
I have just bought an electronic speedo from the States.
They even copied the artwork from my original LC Lancer speedo so that it should look bloody close to "factory"
Haven't fitted it as yet but very have with the service, look and price !

I'll have complete LC frt and rear bars available some time in the future if anyone wants them.
I'm changing over to LB bars - but need to make sure that it all works first before saying goodbye to the old ones !

From someone that has an SR20 in a LC Lancer ..... don't do it !
You will have trouble clearing the steering, the gear box is much bigger and will need tunnel mods and the brake booster won't fit ...... other than that BLOODY GREAT

Hi all, Just thought I'd let anyone interested know how the extremely long term build of my LC Lancer is progressing ! It is about 4 weeks away from top coat paint at the panel shop .... and about 6 months to assemble etc....... So xmas 2012 is a possibility. On a personal note - I have separated fr...
