Re: 4g32 Dual Mikuni Jetting Advice
What davetrees said is what i was trying to explain but in better terminology :) Im a mechanic, what ive been taught is that all carbs generally have one primary fuel jet and one secondary fuel jet. Now between weber terminology and factory mitsubishi manuals the terms get quite confusing.. This is ...

Re: 4g32 Dual Mikuni Jetting Advice
Your getting confused with enrichment jets and air bleed jets for primary and secondary circuits. The main jet and secondry jets in the bottom of the float bowels meters the amount of fuel taken from the bowel to the venturi.

Re: 1973 Galant 16L lowering
Forget about trying to get 3/4 inches drop on a galant, with wide wheels they will be sitting hard on the guards and the rear diff housing will be on the bump stops, not to mention it will drive like shit. Mine is lowered 2.5 and there is only about 20mm free travel till it hits bump stops, which is...

Re: 1973 Galant 16L lowering
Ive got a gd hardtop that ill finish restoring one day, a gd sedan daily, ive owned about 7 galants all up. Im running gh scorp struts with camira inserts, struts shortened about 50 mm to suit, i have 6kg sprinfs wuth otomoto coilover sleeves and camber tops on my lancer. This may be a bit low for a...

Re: 1973 Galant 16L lowering
Wow thats a tidy hardtop, please dont butcher it. 14/15x7's will work well in a 0 offset, or in 15x8 +15 (thats what im running). As for lowering in the back you have two options, lowering blocks of get the leafs reset, i would reccomend the second option. For the front if you wont to go lower than ...

Lol! Forget about it, the pump your reffering too is 35+ psi opperating pressure, webers need no more than 5 max. Sounds like your idea is like trying to reinvent the wheel. Why not go with webers and a elwctronic dizzy out of a gn siggy?

Re: Lowering and new wheels
16's are way to big for galants, i know from experience. I run 15x8 nemoto rs-8 +15 offset on my gd galant, its 2.5 inches lower all round with 195/50r15 tyres. The wheels dont rub on full lock at all, cant quite fit my fingers between the top of the wheel and guard. any bigger tyre profile and the ...

Not very hard, just remove the box, clutch, or and flywheel, remove the seal with a seal tool or remove the ally seal housing and tap the seal out, oh and dont rip the sump gasket

Re: Prevent me from doing something stupid
Ive got 30mm king.spring lows in the front of my gd with a coil cut off.. It only has about 15-20mm travel before hittingbthw bump stops,.it hits them all the time and rides uncomfortably, dont do it, the stock strut tubes are too short for lowered springs. My lancer race car has gh struts with cami...
