just to throw a cat among the pidgens I have a astron 1 block in my sigma that has both narrow and wide patterns and as far as I know its factory all the side holes have counter bores for the hollow dowels ive seen this before aswell, i think it was a replacement engine under warranty, so they must...

this is really, really ghetto.
but i cut up a peice of garden hose and a little grease to replace mine in the old GN i had, it lasted 6 months still going strong until i sold it.
i used a similar method in a GE jap box to stop the sloppy feel. that lasted a week

ive pulled out some that have had different colored stripes painted on them aswell, no idea what they mean.

not sure why you would have issues revving to 6 in neutral, there must be something wrong. but under load ive never had a stock 2.6 feel like it wants to rev past 5 without a cam or a dirty big turbo hanging off it im driving a stock auto GK atm, and that wont let the engine rev past about 4800 when...
