Re: The GK Turbo....
man, i thought i was adventurous putting nissan IRS in.
i looked at this and thought that the nissan would be easier than what your doing, plus more aftermarket options and adjustability for track use.
this is something abit unusual. what did they say at UPI when you walked out with half a car? lol

Re: fuel/temp gauge not working?
in regards to the original issue, check the push on connector on the manifold, give it a good clean or even replace the spade lug on it if its crusty.
failing that the issue will be in the dash cluster.

Re: high performance ignition question
The question i have is are you getting spark breakdown? if your not, then theres very little to be gained by increasing the spark. you can go CDI, open up the gap and get a few extra HP, but unless your pushing the boundaries or having issues with the current setup theres not alot to be gained. you ...

Re: 2.6 N/A head help
yes and yes.
the ecu runs off an AFM not MAP based. so itll be fine.
if you put a big cam in it it wont like it as much as it will change the mixtures if you start adding overlap.

Re: Would you tow a car trailer with a Magna?
ive done a fair bit of towing with a 2002 magna, it does it fine. has no problems...... other than NO traction with weight on the back, you can forget about taking off with more than 1/3 throttle with a car on a trailor. and wet hillstarts..... almost didnt make it once the car is quite capable. but...

Re: EOI Perspex rear windows, moulded to suit
i doubt this would be regency approved, im doing it for weight reduction as im tracking the car.
actual weights, i dont know.
i would only be doing a GK/GL style is theres interest.

EOI Perspex rear windows, moulded to suit
i am considering getting a perspex rear window made up for my track scorpion in the interest of saving weight.
they are approx 1/8th of the normal weight of glass according to the maker.
would anyone else be interested? likely cost approx $300

youd want to have a good funeral plan if you attempt this. but i see it as an impossibility at you describe it and without some SERIOUS custom gear ratios. youll need to get around 10,600 rpm to get to that speed in 5th with a conventional manual setup ive wound my old sig out to the 6500 limiter in...

ive found some honda wheels in the right offset for now. ill be able to run 225's without guard flares, but it limits the choice of wheels. so flares will be in the future i think. spent half the day at the wrecker today wasting time and walking round trying to find a suitable steering combination. ...

Re: Vr4retrofit's new toy
Nice one
as far as injection goes, magna injection is just as easy as TPI, you still need the same stuff to run it all.
that is unless you ran an injector in the crossover pipe or something you could keep the std sigma intake etc
