4g32 - whats it worth?
Hey guys Im in the process of selling a 4g32 but have no idea what its worth. I dont want to rip off or get ripped off etc just a fair price for a fair bloke. Its a 4g32 belt drive out of an LC lancer. 96k on it. Running. Good condition. Recently serviced and replaced things like plugs, leads, rebui...

Re: AE86 front suspension into LC
I understood maybe 40% of that haha.
I mainly want K frame for steering rack. and hubs for coilovers/bolt on big brake kit. Not terribly fussed about all the little fine suspension tuning although it is a bonus.

Re: AE86 front suspension into LC
Im more thinking entire suspension hopefully, putting in the K frame means a steering rack, hubs, coilovers, sway bar, panhard rods etc. Looks very close, id be expecting to maybe do something custom for the K frame and front panhard rod housings possibly but yea curious as to what is involved if an...

AE86 front suspension into LC
I apologize if this has been covered many times before, but im not much of a search expert and the very few key words that came up werent really of help. Im looking at throwing in some ae86 front suspension into the LC as the upgrade but im not quite sure how much of a task that might be. Im pretty ...
Re: Maverick
Few months off yet i think. In the middle of buying an RVR as the compromise car off a friend which needs a little work but for the price is a bargain, which means this isnt going to be the daily anymore which is kinda a relief. I was going to chuck it in and then turbo it but a few things have made...
Re: Maverick
Long roadtrip down to newcastle this weekend to pick up a 4g54+box. Lucky it came with a good condition box too as it turns out to be a wideblock.
Looks a bit ugly on the outside but under the rocker/sump looks very well kept. Bit of a spitshine and a turbo bolt on and she'll be right.

LC lancer front struts
Hey guys,
Trying to dig up a set of struts (not just inserts - already have new inserts) but it seems nobody makes them or nobody has old stock if they did. Is this right? How would i go about getting a set if thats even possible?
Cheers

Re: Tailshaft question
No idea, ive been told it was fresh pulled and in good running order.
Not fussed on wide or narrow block as its going in how it is together. As long as the shifter location will still poke through my centre console im happy.
Will find out in a few weeks when i go to pick it up i guess

Tailshaft question
Quick search hasn't really helped so ill ask quickly here.
Putting a 4g54 and matching box into the LC lancer from a sigma im told, and was wondering if its a straight bolt in or the box is shorter/longer etc and tailshaft will need to be modified to suit? Manual to a manual. From a 32 to a 54.
Cheers

If the inlet ports weren't different then they would be. Been down this road and they can't work, the older evos had a much bigger port before they turned them around.

Re: Silly questions time!

Silly questions time!
Probing my curiosity has anyone modified pacemakers on a 4g54 to go 4-2 and have the twin exhaust all the way back instead of the usual 4-2-1? Would there be any real advantage of doing it in this scenario with say a few 45DCOES and a cam or something or would it just be too much and lose too much b...

Get an l200 shaft and you lb shaft and take them to a driveshaft shop. They'll put the lb dtiff side yolk on the l200 shaft. Problem solved.

Re: Gearbox mount problems
Update: After pulling it out and having a look it looks like there was too much pressure on the gearbox and so it eventually won the fight and collapsed the rubber. I've ordered another one from Sydney for 60 bucka express post so hopefully that will be here by Friday. I've made some spacers to put ...

Re: Gearbox mount problems
It's 2 rubber blocks sandwiched between 3 metal plates. My blue slip guy sourced one and fitted it brand new. The rubber has split away from the metal and has collapsed the box down about 30mm or so misaligning the tailshaft. Not sure if maybe just a case of a bad product or something more sinister ...

Metal head gasket.
As per title in chasing a metal head gasket for my sigma 4g52. Quick forum search yielded 4 uunhelpful results. I must be terrible at eBay too as last time I searched for a carby rebuild kit I got nothing but someone else linked me a kit that's been on it for ages so... Anyway, engine is out of a GH...
