This is going to sound strange but talking to people who have been around webers a long time the new ones dont perform or tune as well as the old ones even though they are meant to be the same casting wise.

Not bagging you man. But why does everyone want to remove their sound deadener? Surely it cant weigh that much to make any sort of significant weight or time advantage. Especially if you are going to leave the Door trims and stock Glass in... And all it does is make it even louder inside the car? J...

No worries guys....like i said, was just throwing ideas around.
Might bother with the cold air intake when i put the 2L motor in it....dont try talk me into a 2.6L as i have a race spec 2L that puts out heaps of power.

Ok so im no engineer (thought I should state that right from the go) and am serious, and am not after a wank factor. Was tinkering in my garage last night with my new fuel pump setup and looked up at the intercooler that i obtained as part of a car i bought. My air filter was sitting next to it and ...

Minimum steering wheel size?
Hey guys just wondering if there is a minimum legal steering wheel size? I have an LC lancer which has I think a 380mm steering wheel. 350mm feels like a good size, 330mm has the style I want (havent held one but dont think 20mm OD will make too much difference), but was wondering when it starts to ...

Brakes going on the rear are bigger than the ones on the front. Just want to tone down the braking a little in the rear so its not too rear happy.

500 might be a bit of a stretch but if Cheater can get 119KW at the wheels (around 200HP at the flywheel), on a NA engine, using carbs , a M4 head and a fairly lumpy cam, there is no reason not to expect up to 140kw at the wheels with an aggressive build. I konw of 2 cars with around the 130kw at t...
