Re: How do you make a magna head into a rwd?
FWD to RWD heads are exactally the same, just bolt on (just check ur inlet because the Astron 1 heads the bolts for the inlet manifold are directly above/below each other (for carby) where as the Astron 2 (M6 or M7) the inlet bolts are on a diagonal (for fuel injection). Also the water inlet is diff...

Oil surge problems, not that i noticed, however i normally concentrate more on the track/trees than watching my oil pressure gauge. Re: Galant dyno specs?
I do know of two 4G54 N/A engines that have around the 300hp mark. Both have quad throttle bodies, cams, head work, exhausts, motech computers. One in a LA lancer, the other in a Sigma. Im not bragging (as they aren't mine) but it is possible to get that much power out of this engine......but u do h...

Re: urgent help need, bronze shavins in oil
New oil shouldnt be black yet anyway.
Did you get the head rebuilt? because I know that if the cam is pulled out and the head sandblasted or cleaned a lubricant (which looks shiny) is put under all the bearings and lobes of the cam.
Hope this helps

Hey 2.6_sigma_skidder, Ive been having trouble with spinning big end bearings (done it twice in the last 6 months) not sure y the first time happened, but the second was probably a shoddy repair on my behalf, what do you mean "resize the rods" because I dont want this to happen again. Chee...

Thanks Chris I did hear that from another source just wanted to see if anyone else thought this.
Could someone with a Sigma, scorp, or triton post up what the stroke of their 2.6L is, because I have a magna book which says its 98mm.

My 4G54 had similar problem (after I had head reconditioned with #3 cam and double valve springs), it wouldnt rev past 4500rmp (used to rev to almot 6000)...........I just advanced the timing a bit more and that solved the problem (until the crank bearings shat themselves and the engine died). Re: AFTERMARKET CAMTECH CAM SPECS - SATURN - ASTRON - EVO
That is just CamTech though. The specs are there and if you take them along with ur cam to another place they might do hardface welding and regrind if your serious and want to pay the money to get it done.
There are pleanty of other cam shops around.

Re: AFTERMARKET CAMTECH CAM SPECS - SATURN - ASTRON - EVO
NB: called CamTech and the only 4G32 cams they do are #1 and #2 (maybe 3 if ur cams in fantastic nic) but they wont Hardface Weld anymore because "it takes too much time" #1 and #2 are $198 for regrind.
Just thought ppl might want to know.

Not sure about Galant into LA......Ive got a GC wagon diff in my GC because again thicker axles. But if you cant get LC parts modify a Scorpion diff. Try and get the white minilites in the background of that pic.....see if they are the right size, because they would be awesome...nice dish on them as well. If those rims came off a Silvia yes they would be the right PCD and being a 16" rim they should have a big enough offset to clear brakes b...

Re: la lancer rally comp and modifications questions
I have GH sigma struts and brakes in both my GC and LC. The LC is boosted brakes and they work a million bucks, the GC is NOT boosted but still pulls up well but if its for racing get a booster.
