Engine bay clean up

Motors out and the engine bay got a good degrease/clean up on the weekend.

is there any tips or areas of concern to do a tidy up before starting to put the motor back in.

was thinking along the lines of just making the engine bay a bit smoother/cleaner.

Hi guys went racing (motorkhana/khanacross) on the weekend. GK Scorpion the car understeers alot, it was suggest to get more negative camber and a bit of toe out. I tried playing with tyre pressure a fair bit, but it still understeers. have people attempted to lengthen the lower control arms/ or som...

been looking more into steel wheels.

anyone got an reference links etc. to different steel wheel designs that are 4X114.3 or 5 X 114.3 (if I go that way).

Google isn't much help just getting sunraysias etc.

as for the starion wide body rims,
Im at the point of the project where I can change to 5 stud if I want, it may open up more sutiable options.

you could find a car with a rubber/foam lip spoiler and 'modify' it to suit.
old BMW, telstar tx5 (maybe) I'm sure there are plenty of others. might even be able to get a universal?

plenty of motors lying around, 5 at last count hah
once I sort the rover's issues :@ , its back to putting in the ecotec. so its jsut a big hole in the engine bay at the moment.
just thought I'd have a look when I pulled it out.
