Re: Wheels to fit our cars.

EDIT

For example, daewoo matiz... these rims are smaller than stock galant rims (155 tyres i think) and are the completely wrong offset... why would you want that in the list????

You can swap pedal boxes i think to swap between the two.

I have a 15/16' (boosted) running without the booster in my GC.

Turbo.

Extra capacity will let you run a bigger turbo with less boost less lag and more power :D

Re: GC Galant , what master cyclinder to suit rear discs.

Why not use the Scorpion proportioning valve? It looks identical to the one in my GD wagon with boosted brakes, but it would be set up for the disc brakes. All that is required to put it in is a couple of spanners. Is that the little thing on the firewall???? Thats definately a great idea! I'm not ...

Re: GC Galant , what master cyclinder to suit rear discs.

I just want a master thats 1" or close to that suits disc rear. If it bolts on easy then even better! I will probably upgrade the front with 4 pots in the future anyway.

GC Galant , what master cyclinder to suit rear discs.

Ok ive decided im not happy with my GC's brakes. It has sigma in front and scorpian diff in rear thats locked and has the 15/17th unbooster master cylinder. Basically the rears lock up too early and its not stopping as well as it should. What master cyclinder should i drop into it? Is there any bolt...

Re: How to polish mag wheels

My opinion is do it properly and then clear coat them when your done...otherwise every time the wheel gets wet it will lose its shine. Will save lots of time and they will look good for years.

Re: How to polish mag wheels

I did it to sigma turbo wheels years ago for my galant...all by hand started with rough sandpaper (like 80 grit) slowly worked all the way to 1200, then used polish and a rag.

I had to start wearing gloves after the first wheel because my fingers were actually bleeding through the skin.

Re: one for saturn lovers

That is quite interesting. I'm guessing it was built a long time ago as i dont think i would be using any galant parts if i built a clubman.
Still it would have come together cheaply an still be fun to drive and very easy/cheap to fix things if they break.

Re: brake up grade gb galant

No dice. No easy upgrades.

Just buy some new rotors ($45 a piece) and get some Bendix Ultimates or some other sporty kinda pad (last time i bought them were about $120 probably gone up now), or maybe try some QFM pads.
Standard pads are shit.

I think LC lancer is same as galant wagon...bigger drums an fatter axles. My first upgrade was to a locked Galant wagon diff... broke an axle on the street running around on cheaterparts old race rubber :) That was with a carby 2.6... Then went to the scorpian diff locked an aint broke yet... this i...

Hey i just saw this. the adaptor is made from solid steel rod, has a hole in one end with a thread to screw onto the car, then is turned down on the lathe at the other end and has a thread so you slide the shock onto the end...is maybe 60-80mm long just enough to clear the calliper. I dont run a han...
