Re: my 77 galant v6

I've been pricing the C.O.M.E stroker kit - strokes it out to 4.2L (255ci in the old speak) keeps the police happy that way as the car is fully engineered and i'm sure they wont know the difference between 3.8L and 4.1 just for info... power readout http://www.comeracing.com/products/rodscranks/hold...

Re: My GC Hardtop project

why not flare your guards with a guard roller? might take a little time and you may need to do some slight refreshing to the paint but 40 mm is easily "gettable" with a guard roller, i got 10mm either side in about an hour and a half was told by a guy who does it for a living that he can g...

I am becoming concerned that the engine is taking over and this nice Galant will turn into a VR Commodore!
Bride seats and Nardi steering wheel sounds more AE86 then Commodore to me

Re: Rego changeover

as Mick said, you will need blue slip as well as the normal rego and transfer fees.
plus you have to pay for new plates...

basically add around 700 bucks to the price for everything
(not including stuff that needs doing for blue slip)

Galant smells like 75wagons shed (plus Mrs 75wagon's cooking)

i have driven a few, mine feels more "modern" i think.
hard to explain but you dont get as much feel and pressure coming back through the system,
but it is more precise if you know what i mean?
75wagon has driven mine, he may be able to put it into words better....
