hi guys. jets engine is a 2.6L with a copper head gasket in it. . how else can i lower compression with out changing the pistons? i will be using the same 2.6L forgies in there. can i re use the copper head gasket? i have heard that you can. . i head somewhere you can put 2 head gaskets on each side...

ok. ran into an epic snag. . jet's engine is apparently a 2.6L and the gearbox behind it is a scorpion manual one that they had to hack up the tunnel to fit it. so that engine is not going to make it in to silvia now. . the only option i have is to rebuild a narrow block 2.6L with the forged pistons...

ok, so i got sick of being so slow. . got stealth to knock me up a part to weld to the firewall so i can out a manual clutch cable through it, filled her up with fuel and drove her 1000kms back down south. tomorrow i will remove jet's engine and put it in silvia and drive her back home in a week :) ...

i found a friend up here in the gold coast that used to live in richmond and the guy suggested we book a rego inspection in richmond and her friend can pick it up and drive it back to richmond and if they get pulled over, just say they are on their way to the inspection place lol. . and i can get it...

hey guys. i bought a car from penrith. a GE SE with aircon. i am in the gold coast and am heading down on the 3rd of november and am desperate to get the car, but the guy says it needs to be moved by this friday. can anyone grab it and hold it for me until the 4th? i will pay $100 for the efforts. .

i've ran 14psi on a 2.0L with standard pistons and shot peened rods. jet was running 19psi with unknown internals. . the engines are pretty strong and can take a beatnig if tuned right and looked after. .

yeah. that balance shafts are weighty things. removing them helps the engine rev better and and lighter. i did mine on the GJ scorp i had, but i injected it at the same time, so cant tell you of the difference. i've heard around 2 or 3 KWs and revs easier. kinda like a lightened flywheel, but you su...
