I saw that one listed twice on Gumtree
I am glad it ended up in good hands.
You will have lots of helpers on this site.
Good luck with the project, I look forward to the updates.

Re: Crazy electronics - HELP NEEDED
Did it drive onto the pit alright? That is before the alarm was removed, did it behave? You have pictures of it in the street, and on the pit, so I assume the answer is yes. You now say after removing the alarm, and only after the removing the alarm the car is now misbehaving? There are no wires lef...

Earth would explain headlights and wipers, but you applying power to the starter motor, not earth.
Or you could have a magic Scorpion where electricity behaves like anti-matter and if you connect the wrong wires you could travel back in time

So you've followed all the wires from the ignition barrel through to termination and ensured not cuts or splices?

Re: Crazy electronics - HELP NEEDED
Have you removed the ignition cut off relay that the alarm would have had? What I taught my 15yo daughter when she removed the alarm from her car is to follow each wire from the ignition barrel back through the loom (unwrapping the loom) and see if has been cut and shut into another loom or relay. I...

Looks like Scorpion to me. I have GK pads in my GH so I guess they do not change model to model?
Supercheapauto.com.au still list them as available, and I can buy them at Burson Auto Parts as well.

Transmission serviced, and wow what a difference, like silk it is
The oil that came out was relatively good for used oil, no surprises in the sump either.

Re: 4G32 odd misfires
Twist the ignition leads. It is hard to tell, but from the pics it looks like they run neatly and parallel, this will cause misfiring as the spark jumps to a parallel lead to find the easiest path to earth.

Re: JV's Yellow GH Scorp
New bearing on, new seal installed, rear axle back in, brakes back on, all good so far
Next job transmission service and replace selector shaft seal.
Then it can go back on its wheels and then to the exhaust place for a full new exhaust.

Re: JV's Yellow GH Scorp
Axle out now, get the new bearing pressed on Friday.
Also the oil appears to be seeping through the bearing seals, as well as the outer seal. Lots of build up of oil and muck in the middle of axle behind the bearing.

Received the Seat Covers from ebay  Fitted easily and suit the seats. Only problem is the rear seat belts come up through the centre of the seat, but it is hidden well. Re: GK power steer into GH does it go?
Food for thought, thank you  The GH handles nowhere near as nice as the GK I had, which did have power steer. I figured that was the difference. As I have a complete GK power steering set up included reco steering box, I thought just put it in and see if it improves it. GH PS column is goi...

GK power steer into GH does it go?
Hi Team™, just wondering if anyone knows if the GJ/GK power steering set up from a GK Scorpion, will fit into a GH Scorpion? One of the big changes between the two was moving of the firewall etc... just not sure if it affects the steering box / column. I tried lining things up tonight and it looks i...

Re: US 78 Dodge Colt/ Mits Lancer Build.
It is an aftermarket knob. OEM fitments never have bare wires out the back (like the red one), always loomed. Is the box it goes to the fuse box for power pick up? You say it has aftermarket air con? Could be related to that item. Best thing to do is follow the wiring back to see where both ends go,...
