Re: 75 Wagon
Sweet! I found a g54b in a l200 at the local wreckers. Since my g52 flywheel will be incompatible to swap over, are all the wideblock flywheels the same? This particular truck was 4wd with the KM145 on it.
Re: 75 Wagon
When doing a wideblock and KM132 swap, will the later slip yoke (bigger trans output shaft) fit onto the stock U-joint or will I need a new propeller shaft?
I know the trans mount shift back a bit as well.

I think it's a common grill on cars imported to the Philippines or is the Jap spec grill.

My hilux rear is drum so the disc conversion hasn't quite happened yet lol. Not sure which ones might be rear disc though, maybe the later years?

Left side still needs a coil cut on this side to match the right side and sit right where it should with a lightened front end (dummy block and head with trans bolted in only). http://imageshack.us/a/img24/9449/img7835nf.jpg http://imageshack.us/a/img827/1017/mg7840.jpg http://imageshack.us/a/img19/...

GT Grills aren't quad headlights though unless it's for a 71-73(GB). US tails are hideous, I vote for GC or GD front with GC tails...

Re: 76 Colt Galant Coupe
5 lug swap completed, just need to get some camber plates to correct the positive camber from the widebody struts. Thought I was going to have to swap ball joints, but nope! The stockers fit perfectly, however once the car is actually ready to be driven, I need to replace the balljoints, tie rods, i...

Re: 76 Colt Galant Coupe
Got a L200 trans crossmember that I can Modify to suit both the supra trans and the car! Just a tad wider than the Coupe's, which makes it easily adaptable. Drill new holes for mounting and new holes in trans mount spot. Now unlike the stock crossmember or a Starion crossmember, the tranny bushing m...

I'd say inside, so the turn indicators are on the corners (I know GC tails don't follow this concept as do some cars).

Re: Random Galant Pictures (ADD HERE)
I still dont think big ZG style flares really work on a galant. The only exception being incorporatedx's wagon (but that has a kind of a ratty look working for it) but I think I'd still like to see some big Bosozuko bubble flares, it'd be ridiculous but it might just work. That said I think tye Rot...

I believe in the "random Galant pictures" thread we agreed it was a GD Galant with A57C GTO front end, because the fenders are longer than GA/GB.77GDWAGON wrote:Colt galant GTO wagon

fabricate, modify or buy a aftermarket manifold that is setup for a top mount, meaning the turbo sits on top of the manifold vs under it.

Probably just you as those are stock Coupe leafs underneath it. I won't be abusing it with those leafs under it for that exact reason, plus it squats in the rear with that added weight from the axle lol. Pretty sure the axle would wrap wickedly from the amount of torque I'll be putting out hahahahah...

Re: Narrowbody Toyota Hilux Rear Axle install GC/GD
In my research on more rearend stuff, I found this tidbit of info, that could be helpful when sizing up a toyota rear end to their stock one. Toyota Rear Axle Widths : 55" wide, '79-85 4wd trucks/4runners - 6 Lug 58" wide, '86-95 4wd trucks/4runners - 6 Lug 56" wide, '79-95 2wd Trucks...

Nope! They wouldn't know the difference, he simply stated the ambers couldn't be "always on", which I had driven the 77 for 2yrs like that and no problem with cops. As long as the rear end has functional turn indicators/hazards (amber or red), brake lights/parking (position lights) I'm fin...
Re: 75 Wagon
Did some wiring today, had to rewire the tails so that the amber corners functioned like AU/JDM/EU spec cars. US spec = top corners being that they were red, were parking lights/turn and brake lights as well with the middle light. My 77 was different and only the middle section was the brake light. ...

The problem is the challenger/sapporos, arrows aren't exactly common in the states, good luck finding a Fire Arrow lol. Re: 76 Colt Galant Coupe
The benefit of still having the '77 Shell? I can test fit things when i'm not at the shop where the Coupe is at. Put the Starion pedal on the stock mount bracket, now to see how well it bolts up. If it doesn't work out, I'm going to need to request one from over there!
