They might be also hard to get over in NZ, as all their GTO's sold though the dealers were 4G52's.

To be honest I think it looks better than the 5 speed badges that I've seen on GTO's.

I agree. The 5 speed badges that I've seen on GTO's are bigger and sit to the right of the left hand tail light. Maybe the badge is off an earlier A53C GTO which weren't sold in NZ.
