it's a Paj my Brother is working on. Not entirely sure what the problem is.

Thanks 84. I'll grab the 63V 1000uF then.
I was surprised at the cost. $0.70ea for the little fellas. The big one is around the dollar mark.

No, it can't be reset. It's just a little red light on the front with a thermometer symbol next to it. You stop welding, ( well, ya gotta. It stopped ya :P ) let it sit for a few minutes humming away until the light goes out then try again. Some times I can get a centimetre bead, sometimes only stri...

PS: I'm not having a go directly at anyone directly with the above post, I just had a situation recently where I felt I was being used instead of the person taking the time to search for themselves. I'm happy to help members, but I'd prefer people do some research first, rather than expect to be ha...

Re: Triton Engine rebuild.
That's a very interesting graphic. Drivetrain soaks up sfa.
surprising to see the gearbox such a constant, only 3 or 4 HP between 2nd, 3rd and 4th.
Sorry Superscan, I've gone and hijacked your thread...

Re: Triton Engine rebuild.
Just thinking out loud here Superscan.
How will that weight reduction affect towing performance
I know it will make for a snappier engine, but won't that kind of weight reduction in a workhorse cause issues with endurance...??
e.g. keeping a certain speed up an incline.
cheers

I must say the little BW diffs would not last in my car ether would Scorp diffs - I fitted up a H190 Datson diff and only ever broke one of them  good job. admittedly, my diff was open, and traction wasn't part of the deal. Interesting tidbit if info, I had auto ratios, cant remember off ...

Re: Gear stick keeps coming off
Nice, that'll fix the the gear shifter - now what about the rest of the crappy gearbox? Apart from the gear stick thing and bein a 4 spd I never had a problem with the BW in my Corty, and it was behind a very warmed up 250 x-flow. And punished. Though I must be forgiving on my hardware becaus...
