4g54 to km119.

So my plans ATM are to chuck a 4g54 into my lancer . I have a narrow 4g54 all ready to pop straight in. One thing I'm not sure about it because some posts I read say one things others say other things. If what I've read is correct. To bolt the narrow 4g54 nothing is required to fit it to a km119? I ...

Re: My first car build

the galant above is actually "sunset orange" paint code 064,092

the 073 is a bit more of a red orange. sunrise or sunset orange may be what you'd like.

Well, i thought it was listed as spitfire orange, apparently spitfire orange and 073 is actually different. is the orange that im going to repaint my lancer. but the sunrise orange from that chart is also really nice .

All research I've done the 6g73 dohc 2.5L out of a 95 diamante is a 251x32toothed belt? Which is what that eBay listing is for. It should fit. What's the differences?

Re: '77 Lancer coupe boot lining

I bought a 3d printer that I'm learning on so I may be able to reproduce in the future. In the mean time I suggest going to a wreckers and looking at all cars see what's similar that will fit or to modify to make fit.

I don't know much. But I do know know if you push more air out you'll benefit From letting more air in. If u catch my drift. So if your doing that sort of work to it. A set of twins isn't gonna hurt unless your budget doesn't let you.

The owners manual I have with the car says it should be 13° btdc for twin carbs model. What should the compression be in each cylinder? Because I'll be checking all that this weekend.

Timing issues? Or not. Sure.

OK so since I bought my lancer. I have had suspicions that its not running 100%. And for the life of my can't put my finger on why. From what I can tell everything is ok? It just doesn't seem to have much oomph as it should. Now I know they're not power houses. But this is what I'm experiencing. It ...

Re: My new GH Turbo project..

I've seen a similar setup with a water/methanol injection any plans to add a bit of methanol every now and then? Probably wouldnt make a huge difference but if your going for water injection why not try to incorporate methanol into the mixture bit of extra kick for fun every now and then
