i was just thinking the same about yours... i dont have the proper bumper for mine, the passenger front guard is munted and the parcel shelf has nearly rusted out :(

ignition module was the wrong sort, the trigger signal from the haltech was connected to the "hall -" pin instead of the "hall +" of the module... runs awesome now but the clutch slips when the boost kicks in... im gunna get a series 4/5 240mm rx7 turbo clutch and either a stario...

so just to confirm, i can change my 3 bolt strut tops onto the gk struts?
and gk steering knuckles will bolt to gh ball joints?

would the steering be affected at all?

hmm, i wonder how much camber that would give me...
if you reckon the struts themselves will bolt to either ball joints i might just have to get the struts and LCA's, doesnt sound like i can go wrong :)

hey guys,

i need new brake/suspension parts and was just wondering if it was possible to fit GK struts to my GH if i change to the GK lower control arms?

motor sure looks the goods, i wish it would start.. no spark :( i did put my oil cooler on the other day though, another $55 worth of hoses and fittings
after i put my thermo fan on im gunna be real angry cos there wont be anything else to do... but it still doesnt have any spark :(

just went to jaycar to get a heatsink for my ignition module $14! what a ripoff... got some other bits and bobs and didnt get much change from $120 :( on another note, i got 2 metres of marine fuel hose for $6 a metre... didnt even realize it was rated to 150psi :), my battery box is also from the b...

when i asked this question ages ago that dude posted a pic of a 265 in a siggy bay with no firewall mods... the thread is still there but the pic went down :(

but yea, that car woulda been abit nose heavy, 3 cylinders under the firewall to get the balance right sounds about right to me :thumpsup:

i had a narrow block borg warner 5 speed, it came out of a 2l gj wagon.. i donated it to paddles... apparently sigma turbos use a borg warner, and theyre all 2l

a narrowblock b/w box will, youll need a matching clutch plate and the driveshaft yoke spline is different too
pretty sure they only came with jap boxes fitted from factory? in the lancers and galants anyway

lol, wow youve made probably the only points dizzy for an astron... the 2l and 2.6l all had electronic dizzys, only the 1.6 had points are you sure its the fuel pump? i have a 2 outlet pump on my siggy and a single outlet pump i bought to put on it cos im using a weber, i go to pick up my haltech EC...

any 4g54 carby magna (they used carbys right up till the TR (1992ish)) will have the dizzy you want
i can take a pic of my dizzy for ya tomorrow if it helps?
i reckon someone on here will have a spare one if you have trouble sourcing one

if you get a dizzy out of a late model sigma or a carby magna (with the ignitor mounted to the dizzy) then there will only be 2 wires to hook up :thumpsup:

haha, it had a sunvisor and wind shields on each side window too but i took em off.. in that pic it still has a spoiler and rear venetians..


i kinda like the venetians though

thanks dude :) im buying bretts haltech and injectors to go with it, siggy's just at the exhaust place overnight getting a 2.5" system put on or id take a pic of the engine bay, looks heaps better with the proper heat shields :) ive got a set of polished globe montegos to put on it when i find ...

tyre shine your bumpers and the new blackness of the spoiler wont look so out of place,
they look abit faded in the last pic :thumpsup: or sillicone spray.. i think tyre shine has detergents in it
