Re: my gb
Yer I still have the GB. It's been my daily since I first got my license 12 years ago. I'm sure over Chrissy holidays that could happen. It will be the only time I'm not flat out doing a million things
Re: my gb
Lol yer I've only ever seen 1 other GB on the road on the Gold Coast in 20 years lol You will find there's only really about half a dozen different colors that are easy to get (red, white, blue, black, green, yellow). But if u start mixing colors eg red/white, red/blue, red/black, then you can easil...

Re: engine wont turn over
I'm with what Jason said above ^^
Just the little cable that comes from the ignition to your starter motor. Just a clip that can easily slide on and off. Back in the day before I put an emobilizer on my car I used to pull that cable off just incase someone tried to steal it

Re: 4g54 no spark to distributor
Hey, I'm not sure if they are the same or not, but on my galant next to the coil is a little splitter ( not sure of its actual name lol) I'm pretty sure all it does is split the power from the coil to different parts of the car including the ignition system. This shit itself on my car once before an...

Re: All Galant owners please read and respond
I struggle trying to find just about anything for the GB. The Gold Coast is well short on parts. I've been to the wreckers atleast 50 times not so much because I need something desperately, more just to see if I can find something, and in those 50 times there has never been 1 galant lol. It's always...

Re: lb lancer not running right
Could be water getting in throught ur inlet manifold gaskets like the others have said. Also where ur carby bolts on to the manifold there is a little water port that shoots up into the carb for cooling. if that gasket is gone it could be sucking water in there aswell. Good luck anyways. Im sure you...

Re: Some PLEASE help with setting up idle, fast idle etc........
I know with mine even if i pulled the accelerator back with my foot it helped but there was still a fraction more movement if u pushed it back by hand at the carby. Springs are easy to get. I just got mine from autobarn, they will have a few different types, only a few bucks each (im pretty sure the...

Re: Some PLEASE help with setting up idle, fast idle etc........
again its only something little and quick to check, but my old stock carby used to be a bit of a pain in the arse with the idle sitting up a bit higher than it should like urs. around the 1000 -1200rpm. it was as simple as the the accelereator lever on the carby not being pulled back all the way by ...

Hey fellas. Thanx for the imput. I did check all those little simple things wen it first played up and got no joy lol. It was doing my head in so I decided to sleep on it and try again.
