Hey guys,
Can anyone confirm if the lower control arms in a GH sigma would be the same as a GL/GK scorpion?

Re: bent spark plug
I've had a very bent spark plug electrode in my scorpion previously.
only happen once (2 months ago at a khanacross) in the 7 years I've had it and never for the previous owner who built the motor.
put in new plug and haven't had an issue since

Sheriff mini cars, had a couple when I bought mine ($50-60) but that was a few years ago. I'd pop over and have a look as they were only a suburb away but now I live in QLD They don't seem to have a website anymore, but you could try their fb page https://www.facebook.com/pages/Sherriffs-Mini-Cars/1...

slight update. Engine & gearbox are now bolted in, needed to modify the rear cross member as it was a fair bit out, but it’s good now. V6 conversion were willing to replace the mount but it was just easier for fix it myself I was able to use the VX mount bracket with the VN rubber mount some sli...

Roof racks for wagons (sigma & maybe galant?)
HI guys scouting around the wreckers recently and spotted some roof rack which are the same as the sigma. XC-XE falcon wagons and commodores of the same era (VB -VK??) have the same roof racks see images. would need the pipes cut down though https://fbcdn-sphotos-c-a.akamaihd.net/hphotos-ak-xfa1/t1....

Thanks Dave I've had a look at that and its pretty much a step by step for polishing the wheels, thanks to the contributes
however what I'm specifically trying to suss out is the rims that aren't painted red in the recess or they left natural metal or painted (if so what colour)

Re: ddt's 1979 GE sigma wagon 'LIL RED WGN'
Put on a set of turbo rims (Globe Montego) that i got from Smithy. They were fairly rough but had all the centre caps. I hit em with heaps of 120 GRIT wet and dry, making sure that the final passes were in the same direction and did a once-over with 400 grit. I didn't want a 'chrome' finish as i th...

I just want to see if the price he asking ($150-200) is about right? its a bit higher than i was thinking (around $75-100) but I'm not sure what starion parts are valued at?

price check register 3....JA bonnet
Hi guys just wanting to get an idea of what a JA starion bonnet is worth on a parts car. I want to graft the scoop on my sigma, (I've seen a couple of wagons done and I like it) The bonnet itself has some minor rust and doesn't have the starion side vents got some 'interesting' ones instead https://...

chasing some pictures of what they would look like on a scorpion.
Doesn't have to be watanabes but that similar design. I maybe purchasing some if they look alright, I just can't picture it well enough

fuel tank sumps
Hey guys,
curious to know if anyone knows why most fuel tank sumps are a wedge shape rather than a box or any other shape.
I suspect its a drag racing thing, but I would have thought a box shape would be the best for everyday application.
interested in peoples thoughts
cheers

Re: External lift fuel pump - ecotec conversion
Room underneath is an issue, being a wagon no good in the boot/cabin and I like the idea of keeping the system simple 1 pump etc. Probably going to be similar ballpark cost (clean tank & sump vs. Second pump, surge and fittings)
