Re: brake cailpers hitting tie rod end!
I used gh struts/brakes (not green) with ga knuckles and it fitted perfect... upon wheel alignment camber was 1.5 degrees... not that bad really. . I used 50mm lowered springs and spaced a set of skyline inserts (25mm approx at base) as they are shorter than stock ones... passed engineers with this ...

Also ga gb calipers are fixed calipers..regardless of pad thickness location of calipers remains the same. Green struts are gh. . Some pics would be good :-)

As easy as using a gasket as a template.. I used a mill to bore out port holes.. drilled through holes for studs to hold it to head...tapped threads for studs to hold manifold to adapter.. really was easy. :-)

Re: strut help
Green strut types have a steel bracket that bolts onto the strut at the bottom near ball joint flange, it mounts around stub axle with four bolts..then caliper slide mounts onto that with two bolts.. Other style has a forged "one piece" stub at the bottom which only has two bolts holding o...

Re: skyline shock insert in gh struts..
Yeah lots of speculation, really want to know for definite.... engineer does not want cut and shut struts, and rwc wants captured spring.. I'm hoping someone has done it, and knows for sure it can be done.... I have to order shocks in and there is no return if they are not right.... just cant afford...

skyline shock insert in gh struts..
Simple question, need to capture lowered springs in a gh strut, will the skyline/pintara struts do it? With only a spacer, either top or bottom.... to make shock secure in strut body? Also does skyline strut bolt to gh strut top?

Re: Need help With Brake and suspension GH/GJ Sigma
So I should be able to fit, the sigma 2 caliper mount, with sigma 3 caliper? There appears no difference between them except the actual caliper mount itself? So if I can get sigma 2 mounts it should fix this? Prob is wreckers have seperated all the stuff (struts here calipers there and mounts somewh...
