as i understood it the vr4 engine swap complications came mostly in converting the thermostat housing at the back to pass the firewall. I had some info on it god knows what happened to it though...

hope the guys can help you coz there are sigmas on here that have already done it.

adaptronic mate i defo rate it. very tuneable, runs anything you need to run and costs are reasonable. :D

cheers man :-) she's a long way from restored though. Havent even started workin on her.

Today i lodged the second FOI application to get a confirmation on if the engine is still registered and to what/when it was last registered. With luck i may find some more info to help me track it down...

good stuff mate im impressed. im a big fan of seeing the guys who took the time to use the factory ecu and wire it all in. It would look so stock and yet give great performance. Props too ya man for the hard work! That pump will serve you well...

mine were removed despite running turbo eif setup on standard cam. Just as they say its not critical, but one less part to break. The builder that did my engine had the balancing machine to ensure my engine was so spot on the shafts wouldve never been needed. cheeter knows mate. There are none wiser...

hey guys had a few weeks off the funds have been sidetracked so the project is definitely behind but all good. A goal is a goal but money only flows in and out in a place called reality for me.... UPDATE tank is coated on the outside now after i aqua cleaned, rust blasted and now rust seal coated it...

yeah there was a guy that did it to a 4wd back when i was investigating doing the turbo efi version to mine. He got great results mate so dont be discouraged but do read the engine section on here first k mate. :D
