Had a similiar problem a while back i wouldnt be surprised if its the fuel pump and the bucking is it starving cause higher up it went fine for me but it ended up being the pump of and fuel filter a bit blocked check those for a cheap fix the filters about 5k old, ive got a spare but the problem is...

Did you replace the TPS with a new one or a 2nd hand one? The 20%-40% throttle is the most used area of the TPS to wear out. With the ignition on but the engine stopped AND using an ANALOGUE multimeter, measure the voltage coming out of the TPS. The needle on the multimeter should move smoothly wit...

ive already replaced the air flow sensor, both are doing the exact same thing, ive tried cleaning one but yeh didnt do anything

as above, the fit but spaces needed
there -45ish offset, not sure what stock sigma rims are im guessing low 30s?

This is on my 2.6 tn.. seeing as alot are fimilar with the magna efi i thought to try here Ok so the problem is between 1400-2000 with about 20% throttle what happens is the motor hesitates, then bucks (cuts in and out completely) until it gets above 2000 where it smooths out. did you manage to sort this out by any chance?
im having a similar issue cept its around 1500-2000 very light throttle not so much missing more cutting completely in and out
i have replaced every thing, ecu afs coil igniter tps cap leads
any ideas?!?

love the pearl white they are awesome cars, my mates got a jspec 91 black with leather, fucking quick car when its running lol been through hell and back tho doing clutches, big end bearings, seized turbos, oil leaks galore, suspension squeaks and rattles, rear rack etcetc and its a hard engine bay ...

It's almost a magna except for being narrower from my understanding. Th aussie magna was increased in width to accommodate the astron engine. correct :lol: learn something new everyday i never knew they where sold over there as a sigma i knew they where called a v3000 with the 12v v6 there, im gues...

there was a smick red hitop wagon going around in sa for while that had magna elante side skirts dark tint lowered etc
would look better with the tow bar and mud flappys gone and maybe the number plate trim painted black???

that ge from what we could tell was still the original paint too wasnt 100% but not far off considering its age original plates too (H)
