Re: Gippsland Park Hillclimb

Man, shows how long it's been since I've been on this forum, so glad there is this competition section, especially this track. Also can't wait for Pakenham to be added when that gets built. Do you head out to Morwell much mate? Seems like a great time compared to many of what I've seen on youtube. T...

Re: Cool Mitsubishi pics

that coupe in the video is a little disappointing... THAT full on a set up and only 10.08? I dunno like I know that's damn quick, but from something looking like that, I would've thought 9s at least!

Re: Autocross options

mate, if you're a beginner, I would suggest the sigma is the best bet. The extra weight may lose you possibly a couple tenths of a second overall, but that extra weight could make it a bit easier for you to learn the ropes. When they slide, they don't just snap, it's a bit more progressive and easie...

Re: EFI Turbo Astron or 4G63T

You really have no idea 4g54, larger capacity, stronger crank, head flows more than enough for all but the most extreme set-ups (turbo), all the parts you can get for it are of the shelf if you know where to go, bolts to factory engine mounts and gearboxes, no need to modify coolant lines, only has...

yeah I'm quite surprised... I've never experienced a '63 (have experienced the '54 though) and for me there just isn't any comparison, if I could afford either, the '54 wouldn't even be considered. high tech and massive strength and parts support vs old school low tech jackhammer lol That said, if I...

mate, all these questions have been answered heaps of times before. I usually don't care when a question is re-asked over again, but we've had a heap of global announcements and other stuff about these kind of FAQs. You don't change the head from fwd to rwd (as in the head stays the same) it's the i...

Re: GH wagon body kitting

I'm all for being different, I just like lines that match. It's not a criticism, it's just my opinion. I admire metaldrift is giving it a go. Personally i reckon if you'd stuck with the XF bumper all the way it would've suited the square lines of the sigma while still looking different. For me the w...

mate just get a falcon/commie then. simple, cheap and easy, and if you're just gonna flog it off when your sigma is ready again, who cares.. besides, they're really not that bad cars, especially when you just need a 4 door A-B car
