Manual gearbox shifter plates

Hi all, Could someone please tell me which of these plates in the picture below is for the 4 speed transmission and which one is for the 5 speed? I found them the other day and have no memory of which is which. These are the plates that go between the shift lever and the gearbox. http://i46.photobuc...

Are alternators the same b/w 4G32 chain drive & belt drive

Hey all,

As in the title, I need to know if an alternator from a chain drive GD 1.6 will fit an LC Lancer with a belt drive 4G32B?

And doing an Auto rebuild on a SAAB, where the Auto is actually the Sump of the Engine I would take it you are referring to a classic Saab 900? Those are great fun - not! Changing alternator/power steering/AC belts on thise is a bitch too. North-south engine but the timing chain end faces the firew...

Hey, in that first pic, was that the motor I gave you in the boot?

That was a champion effort - only beaten by the guy who bought a shortened Pintara LSD diff from me and fitted it into his LB Lancer in the cabin.
