Haha, that's a shame. I have quite the opposite issue! Being 22 all of my friends don't understand why I've got a thing for my sigma. They don't do much work at all because they're used to having cars that are 'too complicated' to do anything with. Sad.

Would locking the distributor here be a good idea? Otherwise wouldn't it advance under boost which is exactly not what you want it to do? Or, I may just have no idea.

I don't suppose you'd be able to supply any more information regarding your programmed timing map?

Alrightey, just a little update for anyone in the future. These pieces are standard on any GK with rear disc brakes. I found them on a sedan someone was parting out! Interesting enough, I also found out with the aid of these it is super easy to convert a drum diff to disc. Just grab the assembelies ...

Yeah, I've got the GN manual aswell and it mentions nothing.. The guy i'm going to buy the part from reckons its from a GH wagon. In terms of information, the best i've got is that it's a drum brake rear diff. the handbrake goes inside of the brake discs, and its running R33 skyline brakes, but there's a plate which bolts it onto the piece i've pictured. I hope i can replace it as that'll mean i'll be able to use my car again.

Could be the wrong cable. I bought one from ebay that had all of the right fittings..but was about 600mm too long. In terms of my lack of space, its more because my clutch cable seems to come a long way 'out' from the firewall, and out to where the exhaust manifold is before it turns back and heads to the gearbox. Maybe my cable is incorrect?
