Thanks I have just been on the Monroe shock site I gather the shock off the Skyline/Pintarra is 1986 onwards which is part number 25-0190 as the was no Pintarra listed prior to that year and the Skyline prior to 86 used a different model shock part number 25-3938. Hi All Quick question just fitting front strut with lowered (30mm) Kings KDRL 83. I have bolted all up and strut wont hold the lowered spring captive, out by 10mm approx. The guy pulled out of the sale, bugger. It had a sigma 2.6 with 5 speed and twin 45 webber. Beefed up suspension. I would have rated this Galant 9 out of 10, it was very tidy. Paint 3years old still looks good, engine rebuilt 3 years ago has hot cam. Straight no rust if there was taken out when painted.
