Re: Super vs turbo
She's only a street bus. Don't much care for show cars. I was just throwing the idea round in the back of my mind. I can get hold of a sc14 for free, that's the only reason I was thinking about going blower. Dunno. I love the atmo engine (revs to 8k all day and loves life). I've spent a few $$$ buil...

Super vs turbo
Ok, what do you guys reckon; supercharger or blow through turbo charger? The engine is a 4g32 in my colt. I cbf'd doing the 4g63 conversion as I have a spare engine I'm rebuilding anyway. Any advice would be grouse. Cheers.

I'd be interested in one for sure. I've been looking for something like that for my colt.

Re: just an idea.

(thinking disk arse end too) Looking for a decent strut/spring combo for the front but not having the best luck. I cant find a set up that offer's the eye brow height in looking for....

Re: tassie people help me please!
Its just a colt. I only wanted my spare cam ground to so I can build a good head for it. Big springs, valves ECT. Its got o/s pistons and the heads got a mild port job and a very mild cam grind. And I discovered today the replacement engine I bought when the original one shat itself is a 4g37, not t...

tassie people help me please!
Ok, I'm after a cam grind. Went into Merv grey today. Useless. No help at all. Can anyone recommend somebody in Launceston that wants my money? I'm not after anything wild, just a mild grind of my spare cam.
Re: cam grind
That looks awesome Dave, thanks. Yeah, I'm a strong believer of double checking everything by hand. I remember when I was a kid my uncle had some work done on a head off a Gemini, hit the key and bent the valves.
Re: cam grind
Belt drive. That's a bloody good idea drilling the gear. Can't see why it wouldn't work with the belt drive too.
Re: cam grind
What about an adjustable cam gear? Do I need one? I'm not having much luck finding one for the 4g32.
cam grind
Can I get a mild re-grind, slap the cam back in place and drive away happy. Or is there more involved?

Ok, so can anybody recommend some suspension and brake components that may be worth pillaging? Wouldn't mind stiffening the chassis up a bit.

Re: just an idea.
I'm spending next to no cash on this bus as at the end of the day, its still a colt. Its got a bit of head work, hi-comp pistons, extractors, 32\36 ECT. Only pondering the astron as a mate has an old magna he's gunna wreck and we both thought it might be an interesting combo. I do have a t28 in the ...
