Do you need cold air in or hot air out?? 160+ on the track To reduce engine bay heat one needs to get cool air in and hot air out and logic tells me that if I can get the hot air out then there wi...

From my searched they should be fitted a bit behind the radiator line and that raising the rear of the bonnet to allow air to escape is a no no as that is a hi pressur...

IMO You need to have the oil feed hole and the bearing holes inline no matter which bearing has the oil supply hole.

I'd hate to imagine how many people cringe and sigh when they realise its not a 1.6L Toyota engine in the car I must say I thought it to be a strange choice of engine for the corolla - I had the same thought seeing that ...

Bad Sig I would have thought that fitting a heavier front bar would increase understeer and adding a rear bar would help reduce it ??? as that is the exact opposite to any handling specs I have seen to date.

High oil pressure is not always a good thing as pressure is resistance to flow.
10 psi per 1000 revs is plenty.

Re: My 79/80 GH SCORPION PROJECT..PROGRESS SO FAR!!
Yeah, your Scorpion has been unloved for a long time. And that is one savage split in the dash pad too :( Normally they shrink on the ends and pull out of shape around the glove box. If you're game you can cut the damaged section out of it and fill it with expanding foam, cut it back into shape and...

Re: RX7 Conversion
Dave the extension housing has to be shortened by the front to rear measurement of the 4 bolts that hold the shifter in place in the housing and the stick has to be bent to sit upright.
There is no need to bash /reshape the trans tunnel as it fits just fine.

The factory box will not stand that power level.
I had a cyroed box and did not dump clutch at 4k+ revs with 300+ hp atw Now have an RX7 turbo box 4 2+ years and holding up well behind a TC 2.3 stroker
BTW I have a set of SARD 800cc inj's all cleaned and tested if you are interested ??
