I asked the guy i bought the car off , he said he bought it off a mechanic in Sydney, he couldnt remember his name.

The person I bought it off told me it was imported??
It does have a independent rear
Not sure if it was a NZ car
I cant believe it has power mirrors

Thanks guys , I had a look early this morning. Pull the power steering pump cause I thought the number was there, after pulling it apart I couldn't see anything So I'm standing there scratching my head and I see a raised Pad on the side if the block , It has two lines of numbers. Everything is still on the car interior is perfect, dash has one small crack, I'm doing the body now to get it back on the road , I bought a Chrysler Scorpion in March off the lady who Bought it new, I love driving it. Thanks for the help, the engine does have Sirius sticker on there.
I got it running but needs a good tune. How do these engines go ? Can I bolt a bigger Turbo on there ??
Hopefully will have the car sorted in a few weeks ,

I'm looking at putting a SR-20 in my Scorpion.
Just wanted to know how hard the conversion is, engine ,gearbox mounts etc etc

I used to own a mild 265 4 speed 3.9 rear Centura, that thing was a Weapon. I left it stock looking with hubcaps and 2 litre badges and a small dummy exhaust tip out back. It would destroy the Brock Commodores and 351 Falcons.
Rolling start it was deadly.Those 265s are a great engine.

It was a great weekend, Drove the Scorpion from Melbourne to Albury then through to Sydney after the show.
